What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery
• Attend and manage high-risk deliveries alongside OB and perinatal teams
• Manage a patient census of approximately 9-11 newborns daily
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neonatal nurse practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists
• Mentor NICU nursing and respiratory teams as patient acuity grows
• Develop and implement clinical protocols to enhance patient outcomes
• Engage in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Participate in strategic growth and expansion of the NICU program
• Maintain strong communication with hospital leadership and staff

What You Need:

• Board certification in Neonatology
• Residency within the immediate local area (Fredericksburg, VA)
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and leadership skills
