The role requires a deep knowledge of dog breeds, behaviors, training tactics, and a successful portfolio. You will lead training classes, work one‑on‑one with clients to build strong relationships, and collaborate with the internal team. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual and group dog training classes Work with dogs of all breeds and sizes on obedience and behavior modification Educate pet parents on proper training techniques and dog behavior Coach and educate our internal team on dog behavior and safe handling practices Travel to client homes and designated training locations Provide exceptional customer service with clear, positive communication Maintain accurate training records and progress updates Requirements Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) or equivalent certification required Minimum 2+ years professional dog training experience Solid knowledge of canine behavior and behavior modification techniques Comfortable working with dogs of all temperaments Ability to manage both private lessons and group classes Reliable, insured vehicle — this is an on‑the‑road position Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work weekends Passionate about ongoing learning and aligned with Dan’s Pet Care mission Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Effectively Communicates Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Dan's Pet Care
